We’re excited to share that today, July 21, we’ve dropped ~1,200 new cell segments into the Proofreading Queue for you to check-out!
Like the previous drop of ~600 segments, these cells continue to be part of our goal to proofread the synaptic pathways of the optic lobe as they connect to the central brain of the fly. These cell types receive substantial input in the lobula (LO) and lobula plate (LOP) from the cells that have been previously proofread by you, the Flyers.
This cell drop is another step closer to mapping enough circuitry from the fly optic lobes to complete the drosophila connectome! We’re happy to have you onboard as we continue to fly through the brain – For Science!
