FlyWire’s first ever Citizen Science Symposium will take place on Thurs, Sept 29 at 10 am US ET / 14:00 GMT on Zoom.
The Symposium will feature an introduction from FlyWire co-founder and Director of Princeton Neuroscience Institute, Mala Murthy. Next, take a tour of the optic lobe, the zone of fly brain that we are focused on proofreading to complete the connectome. Neurobiologist Emil Kind will give a 25 minute talk on visual pathways followed by a Q&A.
